Lease deal market

Every advertised lease offer we know about, ranked by what it really costs per month rather than the payment in the headline. Choose your state and the ranking accounts for how your state taxes a lease.

True cost spreads the amount due at signing across the term and adds every payment; advertised figures are pre-tax and exclude local surtax. Under 1% of MSRP per month is a good lease, under 0.8% excellent.

How to read this

How are offers ranked?
By true monthly cost as a share of MSRP: the amount due at signing spread across the term, plus every remaining payment, divided by the term, divided by MSRP. A lease at or under 1% of MSRP per month is generally good; under 0.8% is excellent. The advertised payment on its own can be set to almost anything by moving money into the signing amount.
Why does picking my state change the numbers?
Advertised payments are pre-tax and national. States tax leases in structurally different ways: most on each payment, Texas on the full vehicle price at signing, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Illinois on the total of payments up front. The in-state column estimates that from the advertised figures where it can, and says so when it cannot.
Where do the offers come from?
A daily agent reads each manufacturer's own offers page for a few markets and extracts the lease, APR and cash-back offers it advertises; every figure is checked against the page text before it is published, and the source link is on the row. Approved brokers post through the API, and readers can submit an offer they have seen. Offers expire on their stated date or after 45 days.
